Additional Renderings of 3 Hudson Boulevard’s Spire Appear, Hudson Yards

With activity making headway at several of the supertalls that will eventually comprise Hudson Yards, it should come as no surprise that progress is also occurring at The Moinian Group’s 3 Hudson Boulevard, where FX Fowle has designed a building that will rise approximately 1,050 feet to its rooftop. While Moinian has said plans for the tower are still being finalized, additional renderings of the spired version have again appeared thanks to its architect, and construction at the site also appears to have begun.

Last week, YIMBY revealed a few new renderings for Related’s behemoth office tower 50 Hudson Yards, which is set to rise on the southwest corner of 34th Street and 10th Avenue. While partial permits have already been filed, it appears that the entire tower will imminently be moving forward, with an announcement yesterday on the Nikkei that Mitsui Fudosan would take a 90% stake in the project, which is valued at $3.6 billion.

A few weeks ago, YIMBY featured a fresh rendering for the Moinian Group’s 3 Hudson Boulevard, which is set to rise on the northeast corner of 34th Street and 11th Avenue. Now, new images of the supertall have been released, and while they paint a clearer picture of what the tower itself will look like, clues left by Photoshop indicate that there still may be a surprise at the very top of the FXFOWLE-designed structure.

55 Hudson Yards Tops Out 51 Floors and 780 Feet Above Street Level, Midtown West

After two years of negotiations, Related Companies has reached a deal to lease 15 contiguous floors, or 850,000 square feet, to BlackRock, the investment management corporation, at its planned 2.9-million-square-foot, 985-foot-tall office tower 50 Hudson Yards. The building is located along Tenth Avenue, between West 33rd and 34th streets, in the Hudson Yards district.

71-Story Mixed-Use Tower 35 Hudson Yards Now Four Stories Above Street Level

Construction is now four stories above street level on the 71-story, 354-unit mixed-use building under development at 35 Hudson Yards, located on the corner of Eleventh Avenue and West 33rd Street in Hudson Yards district. Progress can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the 1,009-foot-tall tower will encompass 1,046,332 square feet.
