Bronx-based Altmark Group has filed applications, originally submitted to the DOB in 2013, for three four-story residential buildings at 747-751 East 133rd Street, in Port Morris, six blocks from the 6 train’s Cypress Avenue stop. The development will include a total of 24 residential units spread across 17,328 square feet, for units averaging a rental-sized 722 square feet. Shahriar Afshari is the applicant of record.

William Wiegand, of O’Brien and Sons, has filed applications for a five-story, 48-unit mixed-use building at the vacant lot at 244 East 198th Street, in Bedford Park, five blocks from the B/D train’s Kingsbridge Road stop. The building will measure 44,285 square feet, and include an 11,925 square-foot commercial portion on the ground floor; residential units will average a rental-sized 675 square feet each. Permits Filed: 3620 Webster Avenue, Webster Commons Affordable Housing in Norwood

Six years ago, the city upzoned a quiet, largely vacant stretch of Webster Avenue next to Woodlawn Cemetery to allow the construction of a large affordable housing development, Webster Commons. Some of the buildings have already started renting through the city’s housing lottery process, but new building applications were filed yesterday for another piece of the project at 3620 Webster Avenue.

Commercial Project At 459 East 149th Street To Open This Fall, South Bronx

Last year, YIMBY revealed the two-story, 88,000 square-foot Triangle Plaza Hub planned at 459 East 149th Street, in South Bronx. Now the commercial and community building is close to being fully leased, according to the Daily News. The building is expected to open this upcoming fall, and tenants include Brightpoint Health, DaVita Dialysis Center, Vistasite Eye Care, Fine Fare Supermarket, Metropolitan College of New York and Boston Market. Triangle Equities is developing, and S9 Architecture is designing.

Steve Zervoudis’ Galaxy General Contracting has filed applications for a three-story, five-unit mixed-use building at 573 Jackson Avenue, in Woodstock, a block from the Jackson Avenue 2/5 train stop in the Bronx. The building will measure 4,620 square feet in total, which includes the 440 square-foot commercial-retail unit on the ground floor.
