118 Fulton Street has been making swift progress over the past few months, and now, the 752-foot-tall tower has officially topped-out. Foundation work was still ongoing just over one year ago, with the 66-story building’s rise since then clocking in at an impressive pace of over one floor per week. SLCE Architects is behind the design for the project, which is being developed by Carmel Partners.
Construction is now occurring above ground level on the 63-story, 483-unit mixed-use tower under development at 118 Fulton Street, located on the corner of Dutch Street in the Financial District. The progress can be seen thanks to a photo posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the tower, dubbed 19 Dutch, will encompass 595,140 square feet and rise 758 feet above street level. That’s a significant height increase from the summer, when a 49-story tower was planned.
Foundation work is well underway, now that concrete has been poured, for the planned 49-story, 483-unit mixed-use tower under development at 118 Fulton Street, in the Financial District. There will be 5,366 square feet of commercial-retail space across the ground and second floors. The residential units, rental apartments, should average 975 square feet apiece, and will be accompanied by a slew of amenities. Carmel Partners is the developer and SLCE Architects is the architect of record. Completion can probably be expected in 2018.

Late last year, YIMBY posted a video featuring renderings of plans for a new 63-story residential tower at 118 Fulton Street. The design featured in the film was originally created for the Lightstone Group, which sold off 112-118 Fulton Street to Carmel Partners last September for $171 million. But while the site’s developer has changed, its appearance has seemingly stayed the same, and a new on-site rendering confirms that a design similar to the one previously posted will be built.
