New buildings and alterations are sprouting on every underused plot near Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, and YIMBY noticed that this long-delayed revamp at 609 St Johns Place is finally nearing the finish line.
Ari Kirschrnbaum has filed applications for a four-story, seven-unit residential building at the vacant lot at 797 Sterling Place, in western Crown Heights. The project’s seven units will divide 6,935 square feet of residential space, and Suresh Manchanda, of L&C Associates, is designing. Back in 1999, the HDP demolished the site’s former three-story building.
The eclectic facade design has finally emerged for two four-story buildings going up at 1444-1446 Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights, after a year and a half of construction.
The volunteers behind Roger That Garden in Crown Heights have spent the last year and a half fighting to save their little plot at Rogers Avenue and Park Place from a developer, but it looks like the garden’s days are officially numbered. A new building application was filed today for a four-story residential building on the property at 115 Rogers Avenue, also known as 749 Park Place.
Curbed spotted the façade being installed at Realty Within Reach’s eight-story, 147-unit residential building under construction at 505 St. Marks Avenue, in western Crown Heights. Completion is expected this spring, but summer will likely be more realistic, and Issac & Stern is designing.
