2440 Fulton Street Reaches Completion In East New York, Brooklyn

The City of New York has opened 2440 Fulton Street, a 400,000-square-foot commercial development located in East New York, Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by the Leser Group in partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), the facility is the largest-ever commercial building in the Broadway Junction area. It will serve as the new consolidated headquarters for the Department of Social Services’ Human Resources Administration (DSS-HRA), bringing together nearly a dozen public service programs and more than 1,100 employees. The property is bounded by Fulton Street to the north, Herkimer Street to the south, and Van Sinderen Avenue to the east.

Innovative Urban Village in East New York Secures $314M In Construction Financing

Gotham Organization, in partnership with Monadnock Development, the Christian Cultural Center (CCC), and Reverend A.R. Bernard, has secured approximately $314 million in construction financing to launch Phase 1B of the Innovative Urban Village (IUV) in East New York, Brooklyn. The financing package was arranged with support from the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). Designed by Practice for Architecture and Urbanism (PAU), the 10.5-acre site is being transformed into a mixed-use affordable housing development.
