Construction has topped out on The Slope on Fifth, a six-story mixed-use building at 445 5th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by Tahir Demircioglu Architect and developed by RJ Capital Holdings, the 74-foot-tall structure will span 53,099 square feet and yield 30 condominium units with an average scope of 991 square feet. The building will also contain 23,359 square feet of commercial space, 24 enclosed parking spaces, and storage for 25 bicycles. The property is located at the corner of 5th Avenue and 9th Street.

LPC To Review Historic Sidewalk Replacement At 43 Sterling Place In Park Slope, Brooklyn

On January 7, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) will review a proposal regarding the sidewalk at 43 Sterling Place, a residential building in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The owner is seeking to retroactively receive approval for the replacement of the historic bluestone sidewalk with tinted concrete.

Exterior work is progressing on Prospect House, a five-story residential building at 228-236 13th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by Dome Architecture, Design & Engineering and developed by Robert Saffayeh under the 205 14th Street LLC, the 50-foot-tall structure will span 32,751 square feet and yield 28 condominium units in one- to three-bedroom layouts with an average scope of 1,169 square feet, as well as a cellar level, 22 enclosed parking spaces, six open parking spaces, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. The property is situated on an interior lot between 4th and 5th Avenues.

Designed by James Shannon of Strekte Corp. for Harry Einhorn under the 85 4th Avenue LLC, the 125-foot-tall structure will span 176,757 square feet and yield 193 rental units with an average scope of 647 square feet, as well as 5,415 square feet of commercial space, 1,996 square feet of community facility space, a cellar level, and 79 enclosed parking spaces. The property is located between St. Mark’s Place to the north and Warren Street to the south.

New Renderings Released For 341 10th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn

New renderings have been released for the 341 10th Street, a three-tower residential development in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Stellar Management, with support on the affordable housing by Fifth Avenue Committee, the nearly 245,000-square-foot master plan consists of two new residential towers and the rehabilitation of an existing apartment building, and will yield a total of 459 rental units. There will be 305 new units created, while the existing 154 units will all be dedicated to affordable housing via Article XI regulatory agreement with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. A new tower facing 9th Street will contain 100 new affordable units, while the second tower facing 10th Street will be built with 205 new units, 62 of which will be affordable. The project will also include retail spaces designed for local small business and nonprofit organizations, and redesigned sidewalks for improved pedestrian safety. The property is bound by 9th and 10th Streets and 4th and 5th Avenues.

Success Developers LLC is the general contractor for the property, which stands on an interior lot between Bergen Street and St. Mark’s Place.
