Curtain wall installation is progressing quickly on Zero Irving, a 21-story mixed-use building at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and developed by RAL Development, the structure will yield 240,000 square feet of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and amenities for occupants. Financial partners Junius Real Estate Partners and Suffolk Construction are also helping to develop the property.

Zero Irving Tops Out at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square

RAL Development recently celebrated the topping out of Zero Irving in Union Square, Manhattan. Located at 124 East 14th Street, the 21-story building will yield a mix of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and will provide on-site amenities, dining facilities, and the Digital Skills Training Center, which is envisioned as a pathway to good-paying jobs for the next generation of technology professionals.

Tammany Hall Renovation and Expansion Nearing Completion at 44 Union Square

Work is nearing completion on the extensive renovation and expansion of the historic Tammany Hall headquarters building at 44 Union Square. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Reading International (RDI) with Edifice Real Estate Partners as the owner’s representative, the project involved the addition of a multi-story space-frame dome atop the 90-year-old structure. CNY Group is in charge of construction at the Union Square site, which sits at the corner of East 17th Street and Park Avenue South. Reading International purchased the edifice 18 years ago and received a $57.5 million loan secured by Bank OZK and Fisher Brothers from Lionheart Strategic Management, LLC, an affiliate of Fisher Brothers.
