Completion Near for Eight-Story Residential Hotel at 65-15 Queens Boulevard, Woodside

Last November, YIMBY wrote about a dense residential enclave sprouting from a former no man’s land along Queens Boulevard, straddling the border of Woodside and Sunnyside. Today, a similar micro-hood is emerging amidst an equally neglected space on Queens Boulevard on the other end of Woodside. The current facility is in dire need of repairs because part of it was built on unstable ground. TEN Arquitectos is responsible for the design, and the city’s Public Design Commission is required to approve the project. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in August 2017, with completion in 2019.
