The project is ten blocks away from the Kingston Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains, and the area around the site is predominantly residential. Today, YIMBY also has the first renderings of the design, by IMC Architecture.
Permits have been filed by an anonymous LLC for a four-story residential building at 166 Newel Street, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site is not far from the core of retail action in Greenpoint, along Manhattan Avenue. Eight blocks away is the Nassau Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the G trains.
Permits have been filed for a three-story private school at 211-18 45th Drive, in the affluent neighborhood of Bayside, Queens. The site is seven blocks away from the Bayside Train Station, serviced by the Port Washington branch of the Long Island Rail Road. Bayside Presbyterian Church will be responsible for the development.

The supertall borrows the technique from 432 Park Avenue, and combined with the intricate bronze exterior, the resulting tower could be one of the most attractive additions to the Lower Manhattan skyline in several decades.
Zand Development LLC has filed permits for a mixed-use high-rise at 29-00 Northern Boulevard, in Long Island City, Queens. The project is on Jackson Avenue, and would add further to the area’s rapidly Manhattanizing skyline. The site is a block away from the Queens Plaza Subway Station, serviced by the E, M, and R station. The Queensboro Plaza Subway Station is five blocks west of the address, and is serviced by the 7, N, and W trains.
