Pacific Park’s Newest 750-Unit Tower Revealed at 18 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Details have been revealed for an enormous new 750-unit residential tower at 18 6th Avenue, in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The site is right beside the Barclays Center and is part of Pacific Park, formerly known as Atlantic Yards, a multi-billion dollar 22-acre mega-project that has already seen the completion of four of fifteen eventual buildings. TF Cornerstone and The Brodsky Organization have also now joined Greenland Forest City Partners to finish the project, acquiring land where three of the prospective future skyscrapers will imminently rise.

Renderings Revealed for 333 East 82nd Street, Upper East Side, Manhattan

Last month, permits were filed for a new building at 333 East 82nd Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Now, YIMBY has an exclusive first look at renderings of what will come next. The site is just three blocks from the new 2nd Avenue subway line entrance on 86th street, and Lavin Development will be responsible for the project.

Interiors Revealed, Sales Launch for 67 Livingston in Brooklyn Heights

Sales have officially launched for 67 Livingston, in Brooklyn Heights. Rising 29 stories, the tower has a slender profile that sits directly adjacent to the Court Chambers Building to the east, at the intersection of Livingston Street and Court Street. 22 full-floor units are included within the 50,000 square foot envelope, which is comprised of two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts. The property is being developed by Silverback Development, which has brought CetraRuddy and HTO Architect to help with interior finishes and design. Marketing is being led by Bold New York.

Permits Filed for 2150 Second Avenue, East Harlem, Manhattan

Permits have been filed for a ten-story residential building at 2150 Second Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan. This differs from an earlier proposal for the site in 2014, measuring about twenty feet shorter. The site is three blocks away from the 110th Street subway station, serviced by the 6 trains. Mark NG will now be responsible for the development.

Habitat for Humanity Completes Dean Street Residences at 203 Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville, Brooklyn

Habitat for Humanity NYC has officially completed their Dean Street Residences in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. Located at 203 Mother Gaston Boulevard, apartments are now available to individuals and households earning 50-80 percent of New York City’s average median income.

99 Hudson Street Is Now the Tallest Skyscraper In Jersey City and New Jersey

With several more floors left to add, Jersey City’s 99 Hudson Street is almost at its final pinnacle 900 feet above street level. While the crown remains to be completed, it has now officially surpassed 30 Hudson Street, the 781-foot home of Goldman Sachs two blocks to the south, which has held the title of the tallest skyscraper in New Jersey since its completion in 2004.

215 Pearl Street Nearly Finished in the Financial District

Construction of 215 Pearl Street has largely gone unnoticed but has made significant progress. Since our last update in July of 2016, the building has topped out, façade installation is all but complete, and construction of the five-story reflective lobby is underway. The 39-story structure will be adding 320 hotel rooms to the Financial District neighborhood thanks to the developers, the Lam Group.

The site is located half a block away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the G and L trains, an area that is expecting a significant influx of similarly-scaled redevelopments over the next few years.
