Back in January of 2014, the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved the eight-story, five-unit mixed-use project at 372 Broadway, in TriBeCa. Construction began on the building’s conversion in early 2015, and now YIMBY has new details and never-before-seen renderings of the condominium project, which goes by Six Cortlandt Alley. Curbed NY was the first to report on the project’s sales launch.
The original building saw a two-story, 4,415 square-foot vertical expansion. The 21,856-square-foot structure now features 3,756 square feet of retail space across the ground floor and the first cellar level. There will be full-floor condominiums on the third through fifth floors, followed by a simplex penthouse on the sixth floor and a duplex on the seventh and eighth floors (one of two penthouses). All of the apartments – the smallest unit measuring 3,276 square feet – will feature four bedrooms. Both penthouse will sport 1,400-square-foot private terraces.
Amenities at Six Cortlandt Alley include a fitness center, a lounge, a doorman, and private residential storage. Imperial Development Group and Megalith Capital Management are the developers, while Caterina Roiatti’s TriBeCa-based TRA Studio Architecture is behind the design. Occupancy can be expected later this year.
