Permits have been filed by an anonymous LLC for a five-story residential building at 132-47 Avery Avenue, in Flushing, Queens. The site sits two blocks away from the Queens Botanical Garden, part of Flushing Meadows Corona Park, a cultural focal point for the borough. The Main Street Subway Station is nine blocks away, last stop for the 7 train in Queens.
The 53-foot tall structure will yield 5,443 square feet, which will be divided into seven living units. Each apartment will average 778 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. The building will contain a laundry room and storage space in the cellar, as well as two off-street parking spaces.
Pondosa Inc will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed, and an estimated completion date has not been announced.
