Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 321 Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The site is six blocks away from the Bedford-Nostrand Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the G. Citi General Hardware will be responsible for the development.
The 70-foot tall structure will yield 29,230 square feet of space, with 11,250 square feet dedicated to residential use, and 4,140 square feet for commercial-retail use, which is expected to become a hardware store. Eight apartments will be created, averaging 1,406 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums. Two parking spaces will be available on site.
Boro Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the existing structure, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.
