Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 2367 Pacific Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Eastern Parkway and Sackman Street, the corner lot is one block west of the Atlantic Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train, as well as the East New York LIRR station. Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 83,686 square feet, with 73,131 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 155 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 471 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
RKTB Architects is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
