Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 288 Water Street in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. Located between Gold Street and Hudson Avenue, the lot is near the York Street subway station, serviced by the F train. Harel Edery of EDG Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 23,414 square feet, with 14,304 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,589 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 33-foot-long rear yard, and three enclosed parking spaces.
Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
