DVORA 175, a 14-story residential building nearing completion at 175 Second Street in Jersey City’s waterfront district, will begin leasing a collection of 148 rental properties this September.
Designed by Fogarty Finger, the building’s façade is comprised of white brick, zinc Alucobond, and bone-white Alucobond arranged in alternating fins and metal panels. Within, the collection of residences includes one- to three-bedroom layouts, in addition to premium “Garden” and “Penthouse” homes. Most of the units include private balconies offering views of the surrounding cityscape.
The outdoor amenity spaces are described as a “Miami-inspired resort experience” and include a roof-level pool deck with private cabanas, barbecue stations, outdoor showers, and flexible green space. Indoor amenities include a fitness center, co-working space, a ground-floor cafe, and on-site parking.
Residents who need to commute in and out of Jersey City will have quick access to multiple PATH trains, water ferries with service to Manhattan, the Hudson Bergen Light Rail system with connections in New Jersey, as well as major thoroughfares including Interstate 78.
According to the project team, which includes Shuster Development, occupancy is expected by October 2020.
