Demolition permits have been filed for 509 West 167th Street in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood. The site is currently occupied by a three-story, 23-foot-tall residential building with two units. Tony Ordas under the 509 West 167th Street LLC is listed as the owner of the property.
The 2,300-square-foot lot is located between Amsterdam Avenue and Audubon Avenue with 25 square feet of street frontage. New construction permits filed in 2017 called for a new six-story residential building with seven units. It is unclear if those plans by OMF Architects have changed.
509 West 167th Street is a short walk from the 168 Street subway station, serviced by the A and C trains, and the 168 Street-Washington Heights station, serviced by the 1 train.
AZSK Architects is listed as the applicant of record.
