Leasing at ‘The Beach’ in Jersey City recently surpassed 75 percent just ten weeks after launching this summer. Those stats make the waterfront property LeFrak Organization’s fastest lease-up development to date and reflect a resilient demand for residential properties in the city’s Gold Coast area.

Located at 180 River Drive, The Beach comprises 336 rental apartments spread across two glass-box towers. This includes 38 studios, 134 one-bedrooms, 129 two-bedrooms, 35 three-bedrooms, and two four-bedroom units. Each home offers oversized windows, private outdoor space, open-plan kitchens with appliances, and in-unit washer-dryers.

The property’s amenity package includes a coworking lounge with private breakout rooms, a fitness center with separate studios for private instruction, a waterfront dog run, a children’s playroom, a library, game room, and a rooftop lounge with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. A waterfront courtyard is equipped with grilling stations and fire pits, an outdoor pool, and sun deck, and a sixth-floor roof deck with ample seating. On-site parking and bike storage are also available for an additional fee.

At launch, the price of rent for available units ranged from around $2,450 to more than $6,500 per month for the most premium units.
