Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 42-09 Hampton Street in Elmhurst, Queens. Located between Whitney Avenue and Elmhurst Avenue, the lot is five blocks south of the 90 Street-Elmhurst Avenue subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Hang Dong Zhang under the C.H 41 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 7,499 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 749 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, a 32-foot-long rear yard, and one open parking space.

Chang Hwa Tan of Tan Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in October 2022 for the two-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
