New renderings have been revealed for a new multifamily residential building at 29-15 40th Road in Long Island City, Queens. The project, which is being led by SB Development, will stand 12 stories tall when complete and was designed by Fogarty Finger Architects.

The newly revealed renderings show a facade boasting floor-to-ceiling windows complemented by vertical stone slabs. The apparent presence of rooftop railings in the rendering suggests amenity space at the top of the building, and the ground floor appears to be intended to host retail space.

The lot that the project sits on spans 27,995 square feet and was purchased by SB Development on November 2023 for approximately $5.8 million. When the site was acquired, an industrial building occupied the lot, which will be demolished in the process of creating the development.

A completion date has not been announced at this time for the project. When complete, it will be a short walk from subway stations that service the E, M, N, W, and 7 trains.
