Eight West, a newly launched affiliate company of The Hakimian Organization, recently announced the completion of SOLA, a new mixed-use project located at 72-01 Queens Boulevard in Woodside, Queens. The project was designed by Aufgang Architects and officially opened in June.
SOLA stands 12 stories tall and boasts 364 units ranging from studio to three-bedrooms. Homes range in size from 350 to 1,200 square feet, with select units featuring private terraces, and all units featuring in-unit washers and dryers.
The property boasts a variety of amenities, including a soundproof music room, art studio, kids room, fitness center, co-working spaces, and screening room. Notably, 30 percent of the units have been designated for workforce and affordable housing.
“It’s an honor to be part of the continued legacy with the Hakimian’s and I’m excited to be part of Eight West’s first development,” said Andrew Barrocas, CEO of MNS. “We are excited to see the building’s impact on the already buzzing Woodside market and we’re confident that the amenities offered – which go beyond the traditional expectations for NYC – will set the standard for future developments in the neighborhood and inspire other developers to follow suit.”
