Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 117 Winthrop Street in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Avenue and Rogers Avenue, the lot is within walking distance of the Parkside Avenue subway station, serviced by the Q train and the Winthrop Street station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Candor Capital One is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 69-foot-tall development will yield 22,707 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 31 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 732 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 39-foot-long rear yard, nine open parking spaces, and seven enclosed parking spaces.

NA Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  3. As much as I love houses like these and fear that the replacement will be butt ugly, knocking down 1 family houses for midrise apartment buildings has been going on forever in NYC.

    All of the nice 1920s to 1940s apartment buildings in this neighborhood rose from the ashes of houses like this
