Eight West, an affiliate of The Hakimian Organization, recently secured a $175 million construction take-out loan from Apollo and Lionheart Strategic Management. The financing will support SOLA, a new mixed-use development located at 72-01 Queens Boulevard in Woodside, Queens. The property was designed by Aufgang Architects.

SOLA, which has recently started leasing, stands 12 stories tall and yields 364 units in studio to three-bedroom layouts. Apartments range from 350 to 1,200 square feet, with select units featuring private terraces. All residences come with stainless steel appliances, dishwashers, and in-unit washers and dryers. Notably, 30 percent of the units are designated for workforce and affordable housing.

Residents will have access to 28,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space, available for an additional fee. Amenities include a music room, art studio, fitness center, coworking spaces, screening room, playground, and a golf simulator. Additionally, there are 196 parking spaces operated by Icon Parking.
The grand opening of SOLA is set for Monday, July 22, 2024. Transit available within a short walk of the property includes the E, F, M, R, and 7 subway trains.

    A short walk? C’mon, man. That’s over 6/10ths of a mile to either 74th & Roosevelt or to Grand Ave/Broadway.

  2. A real gem of a building. This will benefit the community greatly!
