Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 96 Vermont Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Located between Fulton Street and Jamaica Avenue, the lot is near the Liberty Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Aron Schwartz of ASCO Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 96-foot-tall development will yield 77,469 square feet, with 76,553 square feet designated for residential space and 914 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 110 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 695 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 45 open parking spaces.
Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
