Warby Parker recently signed a lease for a 1,400-square-foot retail space at The Fairfax, located at 201 East 69th Street in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood. The store is set to open this month.

The Fairfax is managed by TF Cornerstone. It was formerly the FBI’s New York City headquarters, and now is a residential apartment building. The building boasts amenities that include a fitness center and roof deck.

“Warby Parker is an exciting addition to the TFC portfolio, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our Fairfax property in the Upper East Side. It’s exciting to be a part of Warby Parker’s expansion efforts as they advance the important mission of providing consumers with high quality, accessible and affordable eyewear,” said Steve Gonzalez, vice president of retail leasing at TF Cornerstone.

The property is located a short walk from Central Park, and is steps from the 68th Street-Hunter College subway station, which services the 6 train.

  1. Kind of ironic that an eyeglass store is opening in a former FBI building, where they used to LOOK for criminals?! 🤓🤣

  2. I love this advertisement for Warby Parker!
