Construction has topped out on 5055 Broadway, an 11-story residential building in Inwood, Manhattan. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by Timber Equities, the 50,808-square-foot structure will yield 60 rental apartments in one- and two-bedroom layouts, with 15 reserved for affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space. The project replaces a former surface-level parking lot and is part of the Inwood Rezoning Plan, which is projected to create more than 4,000 affordable housing units by 2032.

A recent photo from the developer shows the reinforced concrete superstructure built to its parapet with metal studs and insulation boards beginning to frame out the window grid on the lower levels. The renderings depict the façade composed of light gray paneling surrounding floor-to-ceiling windows on the bottom half, and a glass curtain wall with black mullions on the upper portion of the building behind the seventh-story setback. The structure will feature several private terraces lined with glass railings.

Which floor in the building is the most livable? For people who don’t like being outdoors for a long time: Thanks.
Is there parking for the building
