Construction is complete on 222 LES Tower + Lofts, a condominium project at 222 East Broadway on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Developed by Optimum Asset Management and designed by SLCE Architects in collaboration with S4 Architecture, the property integrates a new 28-story tower with a renovated 11-story landmarked loft building, and yields 70 condominiums in total. The project relaunched its marketing late last year from 222 East Broadway to 222 LES Tower + Lofts, and closings have recently begun. The property is located at the corner of East Broadway and Clinton Street.

  1. They’re asking for too much $$ for the location

    • It’s NY , some fool with more money than sense will happily buy it

      • Not this location lol. I’ve seen their pre-sales being very sluggish but unless some out of town fools are fooled by real-estate agents, this is unlikely to be sold at their initial price offerings.

        • Look at the prices for the unit sizes they are offering. 1.15 mil for MAYBE a 600sf carpetable 1br in a loud annoying neighborhood that is absolutely heinous

          • I live in the neighborhood. It is neither loud, nor heinous.

          • I agree with Liface. The neighborhood is great and I am originally from there and I would love to live there. The prices are way out of line though. I’d much rather live in the neighboring Seward Park Coop condos.

  2. Compare the fabulous old building with this new mediocrity. Where are the good architects who won’t insist on so much energy-wasting glass?

    • It doesn’t have that much more glass than the other building.

Some of us like natural light.

      • You’re narcissists who like to see your own reflection.

        • Oh fuck off Mayor Kenny. Another day, another ramble from you acting loud and heinous here.

        • Mayor Kenny. You must feel so proud of yourself thinking you’re a keyboard warrior and targeting random online users with your usual toxicity. If you’re not a coward, I f*cking dare you to clap back to me if you think your words & intentions are better than mine, which we know isn’t true…

  3. Lofts are not built, the are conversions. It’s a marketing scheme to make faux New Yorks feel that they are somehow connected to the city’s past. Cornballs

    • This project is called Tower And Lofts, and what would you call the apartments within the old restored brick building if not lofts? lol
