Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 280 19th Street in Greenwood, Brooklyn. Located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, the lot is closest to the Prospect Avenue subway station, served by the R train. Kevin Wey of 280 Merlion LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 5,004 square feet of residential space. The building will have six residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 834 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 41-foot-long rear yard.
Archwey Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in December for the single-family home on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
