Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 552 Ovington Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Located between 5th and 6th Avenues, the lot is two blocks from the Bay Ridge Avenue subway station, served by the R train. Mahmoud Elkhatib is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 35-foot-tall development will yield 7,667 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 958 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, seven enclosed parking spaces, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Hany Demetry of Sotir Associates is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
