The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1652 East 14th Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in Midwood, Brooklyn. Designed by Best Engineering Technology and developed by Daniel Azizi, the structure yields 19 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $94,218 to $189,540.
Amenities include bike storage lockers, gym, playground, recycling center, and outdoor terraces including a rooftop terrace. Residences are equipped with washers and dryers, intercoms, dishwashers, and patios or balconies. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes stove, heat, and hot water.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,500 for incomes ranging from $94,218 to $189,540.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 26, 2025.
