Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 124 2nd Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of 2nd Street and Bond Street, the corner lot is near the Carroll Street subway station, served by the F and G trains. Susan Wu of Stanford Capital Holdings LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 10,828 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,546 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a penthouse and one enclosed parking space.
Robert Bianchini of ARC Architecture + Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the three-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
