The affordable housing lottery has launched for 5203 Center Boulevard, a 56-story mixed-use residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by TF Cornerstone, the waterfront structure yields 855,541 square feet. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 534 units for residents at 40 to 165 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $20,606 to $212,685.
Amenities include a doorman, gym with yoga studio, a co-working space, recreation room, party room, children’s playroom, bike storage lockers, and a rooftop terrace with grills and a sundeck. Units include name-brand appliances and finishes, air conditioning, and dishwashers in unit.
At 40 percent of the AMI, there are 30 units ranging from studios to one-bedrooms for incomes ranging from $20,606 to $42,960. At 50 percent of the AMI, there are 130 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms for incomes ranging from $26,126 to $64,450. At 130 percent of the AMI, there are 90 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms for incomes ranging from $63,463 to $167,570. At 165 percent of the AMI, there are 284 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms for incomes ranging from $71,726 to $212,685.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than August 16, 2021.
