Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use residential building at 88-06 161st Street in Jamaica, Queens. Located at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and 161st Street, the corner lot is two blocks east of the Parsons Boulevard subway station, serviced by the E and F trains. Joshua Asherian of A&R Properties Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 34,820 square feet, with 31,594 square feet designated for residential space, 2,065 square feet for commercial space, and 1,160 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 45 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 702 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 23 enclosed parking spaces.

Robert Bianchini of ARC Architecture + Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
