After leasing launched last month for LYRA, Rockrose‘s newest rental building in Hudson Yards is now 30 percent leased. Designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners with SLCE Architects and interiors by MdeAS Architects, the 590-unit development at 555 West 38th Street is filling up at record speeds. Residences range from studios to two-bedroom units with rents ranging from high $3000s to high $8000s.
“The speed of leasing at Lyra has surprised us all. Lyra presents a rare opportunity to achieve the best of Manhattan living in the center of it all, while also providing resort-style luxuries for creating the perfect live/work balance.” said Henry Elghanayan, CEO of Rockrose.
Residences have condominium-level finishes including oak wood flooring, oversized windows with roller shades, kitchens with name-brand appliances, custom cabinets, and countertops, spa-like bathrooms, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, and washers and dryers.
Amenities include a resident lounge with co-working space and billiards; a rooftop lounge; a rooftop terrace with private cabanas, BBQ grills, and a fire pit; a state-of-the-art fitness center; squash court; golf simulator; dog walking station; and bike storage facilities.
LYRA is located within walking distance of the 34th Street- Hudson Yards subway station, serviced by the 7 train.

The buildings in Hudson Yards are filling very quickly.
Very nice views with residences, suitable for relaxation and private activities. There are many skyscrapers in Hudson Yards on famous design, and unique exterior of all structures in the area; really beautiful: Thank you.
The fact that this building leases up so fast at that (really bad) location tells you how much potential there is for major housing development in that general area.
