Permits have been filed for the full demolition of two buildings at 379 and 381 Vernon Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Chris Sanders of 381 Vernon Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

While the permit filings for 379 Vernon Avenue register it as a one-story, 10-foot-tall structure, images suggest it is currently a vacant lot. 381 Vernon Avenue stands three stories and 35 feet tall and contains three units. Both buildings sit on lots that span approximately 2,880 square feet. The initial cost for each demolition is listed as $90,000.

The nearest subways from the project site are the J, M, and Z trains at the Myrtle Avenue station.

Neither an estimated completion date, nor plans for what may replace the two properties, have been announced at this time.

The old building has one of the highest stoeps I have seen. The old facade is nice enough.
