Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 436 Blake Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Powell Street and Junius Street, the lot is near the Sutter Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Hasan Saleh is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 46-foot-tall development will yield 12,412 square feet, with 11,141 square feet designated for residential space and 1,270 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 17 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 655 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar.
Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
