Construction is underway on a new boutique residential development at 219–231 Dwight Street in Jersey City‘s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood. The Dwight Collection will span seven contiguous lots and comprise of 20 units in a collection of two-family condominium buildings, a low-density alternative to the high-rises popping up in the area.
Developed by Academy Capital, the development is designed as a series of front-facing two-family residences, each complemented by a detached rear accessory dwelling units (ADUs). This configuration maximizes residential flexibility while maximizing private open space and a neighborhood-scaled streetscape.
Each front building will contain two condominium residences. Ground-level duplex homes will span two floors and include three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and direct access to private rear yards. Upper residences will offer three-bedroom, two-bathroom layouts with private rooftop terraces overlooking the Manhattan skyline.
Positioned behind each principal structure, the detached ADUs will feature efficient one-bedroom, one-bathroom floor plans suitable for guest accommodations, home offices, or multigenerational living arrangements.
Residences have been designed to prioritize natural light, functional layouts, and private outdoor amenities. Dedicated off-street parking will also be provided for residents, further enhancing the project’s appeal within the rapidly growing neighborhood.
Exclusive sales and marketing for the project is being handled by SERHANT., with Natalia Rawska and Kevin Oliveira leading the sales team. Work is expected to wrap up this fall.
