Construction is finished on Parker East, a five-story mixed-use building at 263 Hackensack Street in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Designed by MHS Architecture and developed by Vango Development, the structure yields 86 rental units in one- and two-bedroom configurations. The project also includes approximately 1,100 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 114 parking spaces, 105 of which are enclosed. The project was previously anticipated to finish by June 2026, as reported at the time of groundbreaking.

Residences feature plank flooring, washers and dryers, custom closets, and smart-lock entry, with balconies in select units. Amenities include a fitness center, resident lounge, private work pods, pet spa, bike storage, Amazon Hub package lockers, and a ButterflyMX intercom system; 13 units are reserved for affordable housing. Listings show one- and two-bedrooms spanning 823 to 1,247 square feet.

The 1.4-acre parcel previously held an 8,700-square-foot industrial building dating to 1960 and last traded in August 2021, according to property records. Parker East follows Vango Development’s lease-up of The Parker, a two-building, 112-unit rental complex with 8,000 square feet of street-level retail in neighboring Rutherford.

The nearest train station from the site is Rutherford, served by NJ TRANSIT’s Bergen County and Port Jervis Lines.
