City Agencies Update Plans for The Eliza, an Affordable Housing Property and Public Library at 4790 Broadway in Inwood, Manhattan

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, the New York City Housing Development Corporation, and The New York Public Library are working together to launch a new 100-percent affordable housing property in Inwood with a public library, a preschool, and a multitude of community facilities. Located at 4790 Broadway, the 14-story property will debut as The Eliza in honor of Eliza Hamilton, the wife of Alexander Hamilton.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1074 Washington Avenue Senior Housing, a 12-story mixed-use building with 154 units in Morrisania, The Bronx. The 135,360-square-foot development is being constructed through the Senior Affordable Rental Apartments and Inclusionary Housing Programs of the New York City Housing Preservation & Development and financed under Article XV of the New York Private Housing Finance Law. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 96 units for residents at 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $51,200.

Affordable Housing Lottery Launches for 70 First-Time-Buyer Homes in New Lots and Brownsville, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery is open for Mother Gaston Hinsdale Homes, 70 residential units for sale across 17 buildings in New Lots and Brownsville, Brooklyn. The two- and three-bedroom residences are being built under NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development‘s Neighborhood Infill Housing Opportunities Program and are only available to first-time owners. Available on NYC Housing Connect are the 70 homes for residents at 90 to 120 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $62,464 to $169,200.
