The William Kaufman Organization and Sage have completed a $54 million renovation project at 767 Third Avenue, a high-rise office tower in Midtown East, Manhattan. The design team included FXCollaborative, the same architect that completed the tower in 1981, alongside Fogarty Finger.
L&L Holding Company has unveiled a pair of prominent artworks at Norman Foster‘s 425 Park Avenue office skyscraper in Midtown East. The artworks now occupy the building’s jewel box triple-height lobby and show on a digital display on the three ornamental fins that crown the structure.
Construction is climbing higher on JPMorgan Chase‘s 1,388-foot supertall headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in Midtown East. Designed by Lord Norman Foster of Foster + Partners with Adamsom Associates as the architect of record and developed by Tishman Speyer, the 60-story skyscraper will yield 2.5 million square feet of office space with a capacity of 15,000 employees, and will become the tallest structure in New York completely powered by hydroelectric energy. JB&B is the MEP engineer and AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the full-block property, which is bound by East 48th Street to the north, East 47th Street to the south, Park Avenue to the east, and Madison Avenue to the west.
Façade installation has reached the Art Deco-inspired crown of Monogram New York, a 35-story residential skyscraper at 135 East 47th Street in Midtown East. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Navigation Capital Group, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 191 condominium units designed by Shanghai-based Neri & Hu in studio to two-bedroom penthouse layouts, as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Anthology Group is the hospitality partner and Cauldwell Wingate is the general contractor for the tower, which is located between Lexington and Third Avenues. CORE is handling sales and marketing of the units with asking prices ranging from under $1 million to $5 million for the four-bedroom penthouses.
