The City of New York has announced the creation of BATWorks, a 200,000-square-foot climate innovation hub at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Led by a consortium including the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), the project will be supported by a $100 million investment from the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC).
