The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1026 Third Avenue, a 24-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Kahen Properties, the structure yields 81 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 27 units for residents at 40 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $38,572 to $218,010.
A&E Real Estate has acquired Rivers Bend, a 21-story rental apartment building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The company purchased the 179-unit property at 501 East 87th Street from Soloviev Group for $116.5 million, equating to approximately $547,000 per unit.
Façade installation is finishing up on The Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, a 15-story medical facility for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects and developed by Northwell Health and the University Financing Foundation, the 215-foot-tall structure will yield 200,000 square feet of outpatient treatment space for specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. The $450 million project is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and 77th Streets.
A riverside locale is proving to be one of Sutton Tower‘s premier elements. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and developed by JVP Development and Gamma Real Estate, the 850-foot tower at 430 East 58th Street is the tallest residential building on Manhattan’s East Side. Along with expansive waterfront views, Sutton Tower has 120 homes ranging from one to five bedrooms, as well as an extensive amenity package spanning five floors. Sales and marketing are led by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
Foundations are underway at 1448 Third Avenue, the site of a 39-story mixed-use tower in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Douglaston Development, the 478-foot-tall structure will span 287,632 square feet and yield 125 condominium units with an average scope of 1,804 square feet. The building will also contain 40,864 square feet of commercial space, 21,224 square feet of community facility space, a cellar level, and a 20-foot-long rear yard. The property is alternately addressed as 170 East 83rd Street and located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 82nd Street.
