Permits have been filed for a 12-story community facility building at 460 West 41st Street in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. The project was filed by Covenant House, a nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter to homeless children and teenagers. This project will replace a smaller, eight-story community facility for Covenant House.
Plans by the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) have been submitted to the Landmark Preservation Commission calling for alterations of the Brooklyn Bridge. The designs call for a revamping of the bridge’s famous Towers and the arch blocks along the Manhattan approach. This program will address ailments on a portion of the bridge many residents of New York City don’t often see. The arch blocks have fallen into a state of dilapidation. The current condition is a stain on the reputation of the international icon, and yet another example of the city failing to adequately maintain a national landmark.
Located in the northeastern corner of Maiden Lane and Front Street, just south of the South Street Seaport District in Lower Manhattan, construction on 151 Maiden Lane is wrapping up, with the cladding of its tinted and angled blue glass now fully enclosing the building.

Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 410 West 49th Street, in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The site is one avenue away from the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the E trains. One avenue further are the Times Square subway stations, serviced by the N, R, W, and 1 trains. Galahad Realty Corporation is listed as behind the applications.
