Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 312 97th Street at Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Bay Ridge 95th Street subway station, end of the line for the R trains. Three blocks away is the Shore Road Park and Parkway, with views of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Vladimir Slobodyansky is listed as behind the applications.
After previously enduring a slight pause in construction, the site of the future Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center has picked up the pace of steel assembly currently forming the bottom sub-levels of the 130-foot structure. They will eventually form the secondary entrance and exit to the World Trade Center’s Vehicle Security Center. The project is already above street level and is being developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), and designed by Joshua Prince-Ramus of Brooklyn-based REX Architecture. A 99-year lease was already approved for the project by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Fresh renderings have revealed the facade and updated layouts of a new condominium development on the rise at 37 Lafayette Avenue, in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The structure will climb 10 stories and contain a mix of residential, medical office, and retail space.
Permits have been filed for a 91-room dormitory at 6301 Riverdale Avenue on the College of Mount Saint Vincent campus, in The Bronx. The North Riverdale site is a sixteen-minute bus ride away from the Van Cortlandt Park subway station at 242nd Street, end of the line for the 1 train. The College’s Vice President of Operations Kevin DeGroat is listed as behind the applications.
