Steiner Studios has partnered with Dattner Architects to complete a 500,000-square-foot productions studio at Bush Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The new facility will arrive as Steiner Studios’ second New York City outpost and its first in the “Made in New York Campus,” which is expected to open in 2021.
At the beginning of this year, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced a major redevelopment initiative for the area surrounding New York City’s Pennsylvania Station. Referred to as the “Empire State Complex,” the project team is now completing a final scope of work, which will take into consideration the many comments received from community activists, experts, and officials since a scoping meeting on July 20, 2020.
The City of Yonkers is set to launch one of its largest investment initiatives to transform the downtown center into a vibrant mixed-use hub of commerce and residency. New developments will be primarily located at the confluence of the Hudson and Saw Mill Rivers.
Seven new gates are now complete within the Western Concourse of LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B. The announcement represents a major milestone of an ongoing redevelopment project valued at around $8 billion.
Permits have been filed for a 17-story self-storage facility at 155 West 29th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, the interior lot is near two 28th Street subway stations, serviced by the 1, R, and W trains. Herald Square and Penn Station are also near the site. The Davis Companies under the Div West 29th Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
