Permits have been filed for a four-story medical facility at 86-55 Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst, Queens. The site is three blocks away from the Grand Avenue-Newton subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. The developer, Flushing-based Justice Avenue Tower LLC, has another project right next door, at 88-08 Justice Avenue.
The 51-foot tall structure will yield 90,620 square feet, with 40,000 square feet dedicated to the community facility, with the rest of the space dedicated to a nearly 200-space parking garage.
MY Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in February for the site. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
Construction on 88-08 Justice Avenue is already in progress, and the foundational work has nearly finished. The site will include residencies, a daycare center, and a preschool.
