Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 27-20 42nd Road in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 27th Street and Hunter Street, the lot is two blocks from the Queens Plaza subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Yu Liu under the ZL 2720 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 99-foot-tall development will yield 58,580 square feet, with 36,097 square feet designated for residential space and 3,345 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 51 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 707 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 50-foot-long rear yard.

Ismael Leyva Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
