Renderings have been released for Chelsea Canvas, a 14-story residential building at 280 West 24th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the structure yields 190 units in studio to three-bedrooms layouts with interiors by INC Architecture and Design. Select apartments feature private terraces. The building’s move-in is set for this month, and leasing has launched for the property, which is located along Eighth Avenue between West 23rd and West 24th Streets.

The building’s design reflects Chelsea’s historical mid-rise residential architecture with a light gray brick façade framing an irregular grid of recessed windows with dark metal frames and broad mullions. Apartments come with white oak cabinetry, Bosch appliances, and in-unit laundry.

Amenities at Chelsea Canvas include a 24-hour lobby, a resident lounge, a fitness center with yoga studio, and a rooftop lounge offering panoramic city views. Additional amenities include bike storage and rental storage units.

The project is located within walking distance of The High Line, Chelsea Market, and a variety of dining and shopping options. Chelsea Canvas will also feature a Target and an Apple Bank on its ground floor.

  3. A very flattering perspective of Hudson Yards in this rendering. I don’t know how closely this reflects reality, however.
