Permits have been filed for a 16-story mixed-use building at 563 Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Washington Avenue, the corner lot is addressed as 918 Atlantic Avenue. Two blocks away is the Clinton-Washington Avenues subway station, served by the C train. Elie Pariente of EMP Capital Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 184-foot-tall development will yield 74,704 square feet, with 71,572 square feet designated for residential space and 3,132 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 99 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 722 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and two rooftop terraces.
Fogarty Finger LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Here we go! The rezoning is starting to bear fruit. Hopefully much more to come in 2026!
It’s a no union 99 unit loophole. A 9 story building under construction in Bushwick is going up amazingly fast. It’s definitely not higher paying union construction. The guys work like crazy.
Unions are a bittersweet situation and wouldn’t be necessary if there were better work/pay regulations that are enforced.
more high outrageous rents coming to Atlantic ave, lets see how the so called affordable AAMUP development benefit (ALL) incomes
I used to work in nyc 10 years ago doing non-union construction finish work in many anew residential tower, mostly in Greenpoint B’klyn, but these 99 new dwelling units will be way better than the inefficient “yard sale” of a “dog and pony show” operation currently underutilizing the hopefully aesthetically enhancing new 16 story building site👍
