Wildflower, a New York City-based developer, has secured a $94 million construction loan to complete a sprawling warehouse and logistics center at 28-02 Whitestone Expressway in College Point, Queens. The building will debut as the College Point Logistics Center and will comprise about 322,000 square feet.
The development site sits adjacent to The New York Times’ printing facility on a four-acre parcel previously owned by the newspaper. When complete, the new facility will include around 84,000 square feet of warehouse space on the ground floor with 36-foot ceiling spans, 12 exterior loading docks, and two drive-in bays with direct access to the Whitestone Expressway service road.
The second floor will feature more than 84,000 square feet of parking, plus an additional 81,000 square feet of parking space on the third floor. Together, the parking levels are designed to accommodate more than 220 vehicles.
When complete, the warehouse building will account for about 250,000 square feet. The site will also feature a 73,000-square-foot surface-level parking lot and a large solar panel array on the roof of the building.
Construction broke ground June 2022 is expected to wrap up next summer.

I had a sudden thought on its development show about warehouse and logistics center, concluded that loading bays with parking level accommodates from all floors. Much more than this is drive into the building, I think warehouse manager no headaches with such a good system: Thanks.
